Misreading an Urban Sign

For the past few days I'd been spotting these small white posters on the wall beside the road from Barangka to Katipunan. In big bold capitals: MISSING! Underneath: MARILYN. And under those, in a smaller font size: Hawak ng sindikato. My initial reaction: befuddlement. Why all the posters? i saw those flyers around! and pointed it out to my brothers with a sympathetic cluck-cluck. i almost feel like it's an unfair use of my emotions.

i am so self-centered that any effort to worry about someone else's welfare is a drain to my system. *heehee*
